Congratulations! You are now an expert on animals and Global Warming! Its time to show off your new expertise to your fellow classmates! For this project, you will need to do some extra research in your schools library.

Step 1: Take the information you wrote down about your favorite animal with you to the library.

Step 2: Check out books that talk about your animal of choice. If you are having trouble finding books on your animal, ask your librarian for help. If your librarian does not have the books you need, try choosing a different animal to learn about!

Step 3: Using the information you have gathered from both websites and the local books in your library, starting writing a paragraph or two about: A) What you now know about Global Warming, B) What you know about your animal, and C) how Global Warming and climate change are affecting the living conditions of your animal!

Step 4: Have a friend or parent look over your paragraphs to see if you have any mistakes that need fixing. After checking for errors in your paragraph(s), print it out and glue it to a poster board.

Step 5: Go back to either of the two websites and print out pictures that could help you explain your ideas to the class. Print out pictures of Global Warming, your animal, and if you can, the environment in which it lives. Have fun with the pictures!, but make sure they are related to what you write about in your paragraph.

Step 6: Glue your pictures to the poster board, and decorate it as you wish.

Step 7: Add a cool title!

Finally, place your poster around the room and go and look at everyone else's posters! Read your classmates paragraphs, and see what animal they decided to write about! Check out the cool pictures they put on their posters, and have fun looking at all the neat ideas your classmates came up with!

I hope you enjoyed this WebQuest! Now that you fully understand what is happening to our planet and our animals, be a part of the solution and do what you can to help save our Planet Earth!
